Our Origin Story
Daowise began after witnessing a repeated pattern across industry and academia: leaders treating retention, procurement, technology implementations, and burnout as separate problems requiring separate solutions. The truth is, they’re symptoms of the same structural dysfunction—organizations fragmented into silos, with leaders trained in isolated competencies who can’t see how their systems interconnect.
Our team brings together practitioners who have led enterprise integrations—encoding approval workflows that were essentially trash being thrown over fences between departments—and academics researching public innovation who watched city leaders address symptoms rather than root causes. Traditional public administration training mirrors this fragmentation, teaching personnel, finance, quality, and communication as distinct domains. We built Daowise to provide what’s missing: the diagnostic ability to see across boundaries, identify root causes, and design systems that work as integrated wholes rather than disconnected parts.
